How to take out the inner hexagon screw slip wire

2023-04-24

Many friends in the screw, because the screw is not maintained for a long time, resulting in the oxidation of the screw, eventually rust dead, a little hard but accidentally screw the silk, this article calls you several methods, skillfully remove the screw down the silk.

One, the pull method

This method is the most common in mechanical maintenance. When some molds have concave damage, this method will be used to repair them, and this method is also suitable for hexagonal screw sliding wire.

But before saying this method, let's talk about the current state of the hexagon. What we need to do is to remove the hexagon of the slide wire. The hexagon screw itself has been damaged, so there is no need to care whether the removed screw is complete.

We can take an iron bar or wire and weld it to the screw with a welding gun, and then use pliers or hydraulic equipment to pull out the hex screw directly.

Two, drilling method

If you are afraid of damaging the hex screw hole, it is not suitable to use the first method, then we can use the drilling method. Because the screw itself has slipped, conventional methods can not be unscrewed.

So, simply destroy the screw itself directly, assuming that the screw is 8MM thick, then we choose a 4MM thick drill bit, make a hole in the middle of the screw, and then use 6MM screws, on the basis of the 4MM hole for secondary drilling, finally use 6 or 7MM reverse tap screw into the hole, and then tentatively drag, move it, Only 1MM thick slipper screw debris will be pulled out.

Three, impact method

If the first two methods are not suitable, and the screw hole is transparent, simply use the impact method to solve it. First, use a hacksaw to cut off the hex screw cap of the slide wire, and then use a filler metal about 2MM thinner than the screw rod to impact the screw hole, and then use a tap to repair the screw grain.

Because the screw rod has slipped, the internal thread has been damaged, although this method will cause secondary damage to the internal thread, but it is also a good way, especially in the case of incomplete tools, the use of this method is the simplest.
